Early this semester, The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego mounted Leadership Academy which was a day of learning from the diverse wisdom of the community. After a morning of worship and workshops, Greg Tuttle, Assisting Campus Minister, joined a panel discussion, “Engaging Young Adults Beyond Campus Ministry.” He invited the attendees to think of their congregations as springboards into community engagement. “What’s unique about your space,” asked Tuttle, “ and how can you use that to spread Jesus’ love?” This panel was a highlight that offered innovative approaches to include and empower the younger generation. One of three tracks that day, the Growth track emphasized outreach and nurturing within the church community. Learn more here.
